Most Urgent Cases

Rainy Season

Rainy season means fewer tours and less donations but by no means less wildlife coming through our doors. In the nursery, we have higher costs because we have to keep the babies warm during the rain. In the clinic, many patients come in with additional respiratory issues. In the sanctuary, our cleaning and maintenance costs are higher. In the season where we need them most, we are lowest on funds. Help us, help them this season.

Olive Ridley Turtle

This turtle came into our care with a skull fracture and an impaired ability to dive. She is in need of ongoing and extensive treatment to solve these issues. She has been moved to another facility but we are still doing what we can to help with her care. Help us heal her.

Supplies

We spend all day every day caring for Costa Rica’s wildlife that needs our help; this takes a lot of supplies. Between the sanctuary, clinic and the nursery our use of items such as gloves and goat milk. Please check our Amazon Wishlist to see what we are currently in need of. From there you can have item shipped directly to us or you can select items to bring to us directly.
