Why your support matters
Every month, new patients arrive at our center — sloths electrocuted by power lines, monkeys injured in traffic accidents, parrots confiscated from the illegal pet trade, and sea turtles fighting for their lives.
Each case is unique, urgent, and often costly. On top of daily expenses like food, medicine and veterinary care, special cases, like CT scans, X-rays or emergency surgeries, can push us well beyond our budget.
Without donors like you, many of these animals would not survive.

Our current campaigns
Save Linda the Sea Turtle
Linda came to us after being found on the beach attempting to lay eggs. She has a skull fracture which we are treating. She also is not floating properly, so she needs a CT scan to discover why. We desperately need funds in order to give her the proper medical care, and, hopefully return her to the wild. Please consider donating.
Rainy Season
The rainy season means less tours, less volunteers and interns, but by no means less patients. We are constantly receiving more animals and due to the rainy season, we are running out of funds. Please help us, help them during this difficult time of year.
Ocelot GPS Collar
We have an ocelot in pre-release that is due to be released the end of this year and we are hoping to raise funds to purchase a GPS collar to keep him safe after release. The data provided will also help the conservation world improve rehabilitation techniques and our understanding of these elusive cats.
