Taxonomy: Lophura Nycthemera

Story: Ying and I were being kept as illegal pets in someone's house until we were confiscated by SINAC. We were then brought to Alturas and were kept in the clinic until we were fit to join the sanctuary. Our being released was never an option because not only are we very used to people, but we are not native to Costa Rica, so if we were released we would be an invasive species. So we live here where we receive proper care and diet.
