Story:
We all share the same story that many of the parrots here do. We were confiscated as illegal pets, either from someone's home or from people trying to sell us. Poachers would raid our nests and take us and our young in the hope of selling us.
We are imprinted on humans and can never return to the wild because of this, so we live here at Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary.
